3rd Annual Spring Fling at the Madison Hotel

Four hour open bar, variety of passed hors d’oeuvres,

All proceeds from this event are intended to cover the following expenses:

• 
  cost of materials needed to perform summer repairs on the homes of families living in impoverished conditions in the Appalachian region of West Virginia during the week of June 26, 2011.
• 
  cost of rental vehicles and gas used to transport about 50 parish youth and adult volunteers to and from Preston County, West Virginia.
• 
  to assist with the cost of food, rental of VFW Hall for lodging, and rental of shower facility which are not fully covered by the registration fee of each volunteer.

ROSES FOR APPALACHIA

Valentines Day is just around the corner, and the Youth Ministry Team would like to hand-deliver flowers to your significant other! All profits will go to the Youth Ministry’s summer service trip to Appalachia. Watch for additional information and an order form to have your flowers hand-delivered to your loved one on Sunday, February 13 by one of our peer ministers. What better way to help the cause? Flowers will only be delivered to the Morristown/Morris Plains area.

Youth Ministry Fundraiser

The Assumption Youth Ministry Team would like to invite you to the 2nd Annual Cocktail Party Fundraiser for our service trip to West Virginia. The Cocktail Party will be on May 8th at the Madison Hotel from 7:00—11:00 p.m. There will be an open bar and cocktail party food. We will raffle prizes, have a 50/50, and a D.J.! The cost is $100 per person. Look for more details in the bulletin over the next couple of weeks. It is a fun night, and the profits all go towards the trip.

Assumption’s Youth Ministry is proud to offer Roses for Haiti - a Valentine’s day flower drive.

By simply using the tear-off section in the bulletin or completing this form to order flowers for your spouse or other loved one by Monday, February 8th, you can help our Youth Ministry teens to raise funds to aid the victims of the recent earthquake.

The cost of all floral bouquets is just $40, and the flowers will be delivered to your door by one of our Peer Ministers on Sunday, February 14th. All profits from the sale will be donated to Catholic Relief Services.
